FRIENDSHIP WALK

Walk for Friendship

 

The annual Friendship Walk is the Friendship Circle's largest fundraiser of the year. Individuals, families, organizations, and businesses unite to show their committed support for a cause that touches the heart of the San Diego community. Funds raised through this year's walk will greatly benefit the lives of individuals with special needs in San Diego. Following the Walk, we welcome you to join us at our Friendship Fair!

10:00 AM: Friendship Walk SD Registration Opens

10:15 AM: Opening Ceremony

10:30 AM: Walk Begins

11:00 AM: Friendship Fair Opens




PARKING

Parking for the Friendship Walk is free.  Parking lots are available throughout Nobel Park. For more information on directions please click here. 



BUS & TROLLEY ACCESS

The park is accessible by bus via SDMTS route 960 (limited). Get off at the Judicial Dr & Research Pl Stop. 
Stop ID: 99194.  

PETS/SERVICE ANIMALS

The Friendship Walk gladly welcomes pets to join you.  Please keep your pets on-leash. 



 


REGISTRATIONS

Early On-Line BEFORE APRIL 20: $10.00
On-Line AFTER APRIL 20: $15.00
Virtual Walker: $10.00
(A virtual walker supports the walk, but is unable to attend.)
On-Site Registration day of: $20.00
 


FRIENDSHIP WALK HIGHLIGHTS

All registered walkers will receive a t-shirt, water bottle, and snacks (Snacks are donated by Illumina).   Thank you Illumina for your support!
Opening ceremonies include musical performances, medals for top fundraisers, and a big thank you for all our volunteers.
 We will be walking the perimeter of Nobel Park, with stops along the way (karate, yoga, stretches and more!).
 


FRIENDSHIP FAIR HIGHLIGHTS

The Friendship Fair will be held on the North Field starting at 11:00AM, following the conclusion of the Walk. 
Have fun with your family at a wide variety of booths, or enjoy a treat from the Kona Ice Truck. There's something for everyone!
Booths include: 
Games, Arts & Crafts, and Dan's Place. There will also be inflatables, video games, and a puppy party!
Bring a sack lunch!
